Previously, applicants generally had to hold at least AED 1,000,000 in equity (paid upfront) to qualify. As of 2026-02-20, that requirement was removed. Off-plan and mortgaged properties now qualify (as of 20 Feb 2026). This opens the 10-year visa to buyers using developer payment plans and bank mortgages.
