This page explains what personal data we collect on apartment-in-dubai.com, why we collect it, where it goes and what rights you have over it. We keep it deliberately plain: this site collects very little.

Who is responsible

The controller responsible for personal data processed through this site is Recom Real Estate LLC, Office 2604, The Prism Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, UAE. The contact person for privacy matters is Rene Florian. You can reach us via the contact page.

What we collect

• Form data. When you submit a form, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, phone number (if provided) and your message. If you arrived from one of our calculators, we also receive the calculator context you chose to share (for example the budget or area you were exploring).
• Server logs. As on virtually every website, our hosting infrastructure records basic technical logs (such as IP address, request time and requested page) for security and operational purposes.

You can browse the entire site, including all guides and calculators, without submitting any personal data at all.

Why we use it & legal basis

We use form data for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry. Where a legal basis is required (for example under the GDPR for visitors in the EU), that basis is the performance of steps you have requested, meaning our response to your inquiry, and, for the newsletter, your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Where your data goes

Inquiries submitted through our forms are stored and handled in a CRM system (Pixxi CRM) operated by our licensed partner, Recom Real Estate LLC, for the purpose of responding to and managing your inquiry. Because our partner is based in Dubai, your data may be processed in the United Arab Emirates. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties beyond what is described here.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry data only for as long as it is needed to handle your inquiry and any follow-up you have asked for. If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so unless a legal obligation requires us to retain it.

Your rights

You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and withdraw any consent you have given (for example to the newsletter) at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact Rene Florian via the contact page. Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority.

Cookies & local storage

This site does not use tracking cookies and does not run third-party analytics at present. The only thing stored in your browser is a local theme preference (so the site remembers your display setting). If that ever changes, we will update this policy first.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to updates, we use your email address only to send you the content you asked for. Every email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also withdraw your consent by contacting us directly. Unsubscribing stops all further mailings.

Changes to this policy

If our data practices change, for example if we introduce analytics or new processing, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. The current version always reflects what the site actually does.
